Puller Front - SOLD OUT

Price: $95.00

Weight: 17 pounds (7.7 kg)

Dimensions: 10-1/4" wide x 16" high x 8-1/4" deep (26 cm x 40.6 cm x 21 cm)

Description:

NOTE:  The upper ends of puller front pipes are now open so that they can receive post rack, panel rack, and trailer ball & mount attachments.  A pair of structural steel pipes bent into "L" shapes and joined together by a crossbar.  The vertical portion of each pipe "L" has an outwardly angled, 1/4" thick x 10" long (64 mm x 25.4 cm) steel bar with 4 angled notches 1/4" wide x 1" deep (64 mm x 2.54 cm).  There is a hole at the end of the horizontal portion of each "L" which serves to receive a quick attachment pin (detent pin) when the puller front is inserted into the front of the universal frame.  Powder coated red. 2 detent pins and chain included.

Applications:

Use in combination with a small chain to uproot unwanted shrubs and small trees or to pull posts from the ground.  The chain is wrapped around the base of the object to be pulled and then the two ends are pulled tight and inserted into opposite notches on each side of the puller.  The WHaTS is then tipped down from its upright position, levering the shrub or post from the ground.  The lower notches are used for more power while the upper notches are used for more lift.

The puller front combined with front extensions also serves for the front retention of loads such as firewood, but the front extensions should not be used for levering.
