This video shows the Firewood Hauling Trailer being assembled from a Firewood Hauler with two common fronts and a post rack instead of a post & shrub puller for the front load retention.  Either way works equally as well.  It all depends on whether your other uses for your WHaTS include moving lumber & poles or pulling shrubs.

Just sliding the handles out of a Firewood Hauler and sliding in a hitch converts it to a WHaTS Firewood Hauling Trailer.  Components consist of the following:  1 universal frame; 1 long stainless steel axle; 2 flat proof wheels; 1 long wheel shield; 1 puller front; 2 front extensions; 1 bed mesh; 1 back mesh; and 1 trailer hitch.  All necessary pins and bolts for rapid assembly are included.

Since large loads may be transported on the Firewood Hauling Trailer, it is generally wise to secure them with a ratchet strap.   The standard two wheel configuration has a load capacity of up to 800 pounds (360 kg) at slow speeds.  If a third, middle, wheel is added the maximum load capacity increases to 1200 pounds (540 kg).  It is unlikely that the maximum load capacity will ever be reached, even when hauling very heavy materials such as bags of cement.  Caution is advised to not load heavier than the safe stopping and handling capabilities of the towing vehicle, particularly when stopping and turning on slopes.

The ideal height for the hitch on the towing vehicle is 8 inches (20 cm), however the Firewood Hauling Trailer will tow quite well with hitch heights up to 4 inches (10 cm) higher or lower.

A steel pin or bolt 3/8"-7/16" (9.5 - 12 mm) in diameter and at least 2 inches (50 mm) long can be used to attach the trailer to the towing vehicle.  The pin or bolt should be secured so that it does not jiggle free and allow the trailer to detach.

YOU ARE PAYING FOR A VERY EFFICIENT, HIGH QUALITY AND RUGGED TOOL.  WHY NOT USE IT FOR MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION WITHOUT THE EXPENSE OF BUYING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TOOL?  JUST MIX AND MATCH COMPONENTS FOR MULTIPLE PRODUCTIVE USES.

RAPID CHANGE TO OTHER APPLICATIONS

One of the important features of Wheeled Hand Tool Systems is the ability to rapidly change applications without any tools and without purchasing whole different systems.  If you own a Firewood Hauling Trailer you only need the components listed below to accomplish additional tasks.  Many components are used in more than one application, so as you increase the number of available components, the ability to mix and match components for a wider and wider range of applications expands rapidly and the ownership cost for each application becomes less and less.
